Sorry, I don’t know the operating pressure, but mine has a standard pump as used with SU or Holly carbs etc. so it will be low pressure as you suggest. But hopefully you have this sorted by now as it’s a while since you posted the question.

I have just bought a Westfield with the same 46AxxxxxxA engine number.

I’m told it’s a 3.9 and the car was a factory build. Is it possible that they used a new engine rather than a donor hence the difference prefix?
