Where has my engine come from?
I have just bought a TR7 with a 3.9 Rover V8. The engine number stamped on the block by the dip stick entry is 3913016. I can't find any reference to this number on any of the lists showing details of the Rover V8. Any ideas of the origins of the engine? Thanks.
