Bill, Some more info below. I know some guy is preparing a Lexus V8 for a Healey due to light weight and relatively narrowness. It is rumoured that breakout engines can be bought for $300 US from breakers in Japan. What it says on the tin http://www.v8supra.com/ Custom Aussie bellhousing http://www....

There was a guy on the NSRA forum who wanted £2.5k for and engine and Supra box and that's the only one I've seen. It didn't sell as I remember. A guy at work has a LS400 on 220k miles, the body is rusting out but he reckons it's still sweet as a nut. Lots of info on www.lextreme.com.

:whs Also check the belt is from a reputable manufacturer. A lot of 'own brand' stuff comes from China today and the compounds can be marginal at best.   For the supplier if it gets past a year old then that's good enough. Even if you hadn't tried your own mix of belt dressing and tr...

Toughy,
try www.paceproducts.co.uk. They don't do a specific BMW kit (except for a Mini!) but you can buy all the bits except for the sump from them. As for cost a Vauxhall 16V kit cost about £700.

Sending PM's
Hi,
I've just tried to send Eliot (Mez) a PM and could not seemingly complete the task. The submit and preview boxes stayed on screen even after clicking submit. I've probably sent him 6 copies by now! I'm using Firefox 2.0 if that's any help. Cheers,
Ian

What's the best bargain (automotive) you've got off Ebay?
I only ask because I scored 6 Compomotive ML Alloys in near mint condition, 4 x 7" wide and 2 x 6" wide with 4 part worn Pirelli 225/50x15's for £314 and I'm feeling reasonably chuffed.
