Sadly nothing in Las Islas Purbequias here in Dorset. Don't know what's wrong with us; not had any for 7 years. Would be grateful for a few inches at least and then I could take Poppy up the woods where things get slippery! 8-) 8-) 8-)

Feel sorry though for Colin Fallows and Mark Newby, owners of the car and partners in the Primetime Land Speed Team. They were hocked to the sky and doubled mortgaged over their electric land speed attempt vehicle Emotion and the Top Gear attempt was going to be good publicity for them........and th...

I never realised Ford did a V8 Sierra with NOS in this country. Perhaps he could fax a copy of his full service history?

I would pay for an HPI check on the numberplate but I'm too afraid to be disappointed with my own gullibility! :(

Car was allegedly built by Hauser Race Cars but they only seem to advertise drag and funny cars but then what do I know?

If he's not a scammer he's trying to save money by not paying for 'reserve or buy-it-now' listing charges.

If Ebay spot what he's doing they'll pull it!

Darren,

get yourself a picture account host like photobucket.com and upload your pics using their software. Then copy the links using the [IMG] tags and paste into your V-8 Forum posts.

Then we can see pics of one of the fastest cars on the forum :D :D :D

Cheers,

Chris,

Advanced Autosport Technologies make a cage for the Spit Mk4.

http://www.advancedautosport.com/cages.htm

On my old nail the chassis has been reinforced by plating it and the rear roll cage mainly there for safety and rear-end rigidity.

Outdoor aerials are best. Max. height, lots of elements and alignment are also good. If you're going to do this yourself a signal strength meter will help setup.

Regret but they're usually a POS unless you live next to the transmitter. The fact that it's boosted doesn't help if it's a poor aerial and they usually are.

Ian
