The thing is all over the place. sometimes it runs to full power ok, then it will re-set to start power during a run or it goes to full power then freezes with all the led's on except the first 3?? I have had good service from this unit for ...

I've got a complete set of rockers from my spare 4.6 heads with about 80k on them. You can have them if yours are too far gone. This will tide you over until you can do a proper refurb mate.

Developed a problem with the new setup. Always in 3rd (which is top gear for me) at around 5300 rpm. Took two bottles of gas to find that the controller is resetting itself to start value for some reason? Did two test runs today and 1st one failed, 2nd run went all the way. Looks like I may have som...

I cut a small section from the flange of the thermostat. About 5mm square. I fit the stat with the cutout at the top of the housing. That ended all my RV8 air locking probs.

Mine is a pre SD1 3500, Rhoades lifters, ported heads with standard size valves, Typhoon cam and home brew free flow exhaust with the weber 1404 500 carb. She puts out 187 t the fly, 150 at the wheels without gas if that helps.

Tetlow I'm not far away in Buckingham. Marlin motors in Bletchley are quite good for Dyno testing. If you have the 1404 Weber/Edelbrock set up the the 3500 you will probably have .086 main jets and 065x52 rods fitted. These are the stock setup. I assume you got the manual with the carb ? You might f...

You talking about the Spider plate Ian?
It was supposed to be out this month, but I gather there have been some delays. Looks like a good alternative to direct port if you dont want the expense of direct port mods eh?

Tony I've seen you run at the Pod many times, but have never managed to say hello. You know what its like when the queue is big. I must try to meet you in 2007. I'm gagging to have a look around that Capri of yours. Looks like a very nice motor. I'm tempted to have another one. Used to have a 3000 G...

That Trevor Langfields WON pulsoids are far superior to the Holley / Generic ones when used with a pulse controller. I've been doing some testing today, and the delivery is very smooth and not at all jerky like the old one's I was using. It took a little while to get used to the lack of kick in the ...
