I still cant shift the stuck Step up piston.
Its been soaking in WD40 all night but still no movement.
Tried tapping the rod but that wont budge it.

There are a few companies in the US who make copies or these carbs to proper tolerances and out of decent materials, using better production methods, you could just bin it and buy such a carb, he would thank you for it in the long run!
