Hi ,has anyone put a V8 in a 1962 series 2 Humber Hawk-if so -what engine and box fits best?

I have obtained a conversion plate to use as a template for the v8 -it's not for a hawk -has anyone got a template for a Humber Hawk gearbox

I have a 1962 Humber Hawk,I have purchased a rover v8 with carbs to put in it -I would like to keep the original gearbox and column change.using a conversion plate
has anyone done this or should I go with the lt77 5 speed box
