It's all a lot friendlier now. You have reminded me that I project I need to resurrect is a universal sender that can easily be fitted to tanks.

Are you absolutely sure about that Stevie? My understanding is that the bearing unit and shaft need to be thrown, but the turbine, compressor and housings are all reusable. The thing I most like about the GT series is the blade designs are far more advanced than most of the competition (or at least ...

Prob with RR's is that the same engine will record 2 different figures in 2 different cars. Cars with very lightweight drivetrain such as ally flywheels, small clutches, light wheels and discs and even narrower drive wheels will record better figs than a car equipped with a more standard driveline,...

And this is why I really hate 'at the wheels' numbers. Assuming for a second that those numbers were from a credible and calibrated dyno it would make you think that the transmission was eating 130HP, or just under 100kW. If that were actually the case then the geabox would melt, the diff would glow...

there are a couple of variants. The M3D is batch fire, the M3DS is sequential (and at a grand expensive). But you do get cheap rolling road tuning, if that is what you want. Now there is the question of whether you actually need Sequential. it won't give you any more power, but will improve fuel eco...

I have to concur with Ian on 1 point. If you want a complete service with ECU and tuning, then Emerald is the place to go. Dave Walker charges around half what some other places will for a tune, and like a terrier he will not let a car go out until he is happy with it. Not necessarily a good busines...

You can't drive the EDIS with the lumentition, but the megajolt will do the job nicely probably for a lot less than you can sell the lumenition for. If you look on the LR4x4 forum there is a lot of good info there on installs for V8s. I don't have any connection with megajolt anymore. Not because it...
