Both my V8 Minors weigh around 1100kg. Rover 3.9 engined one with hurricane cam and edelbrock carb and inlet through a jag IRS and BW 65 box does a 14.7 quarter at 96 mph - around 200 flywheel hp. Think you need to look at your 60ft times first. A 1/10 or two off that will get you into the 11's without the need for more power. Bigger / better rubber might be a better investment than a nitrous kit. Car has plenty grip, but is high geared. I know either a high stall converter or lower gearing ...
