its coming along nicely, just got back from america with another load of parts, hope to finnish the dry build in a couple of weeks then its strip down time and off for powder coating, good right up in complete kit car mag this mont ( october ), i keep the updates going on the locost builders forum, ...

just got it back today from having exhausts made, friday its off to have a weeks woth of welding done as well as having Wilwood MustangII uprights/hubs/discs ( 330mm ) and 6 pots fitted, rear end moddified to take a full mustang cobra IRS rather than the normal sierra/granada, then then its back hom...

i needed the bigger car to fit me and my mate in, i'm over 20 stone and 6ft, he is 6ft 4 and a little stocky, normal 7 replicas a built for fit people of about 5ft 6in

Hi bj, what a great effort that car is! Nice to see something a little crazy now and again. What shell are you using coz the chassis looks a little wider than stock? Also what rear end are you using? the body is a wide body luego viento, they are about the biggest 7 replica about, the finnished car...

the chassis isn't finnished fully yet, needed to see where the engine sat and how it went in and came out, so now i can work out what extra reinforcing i can add, the diff is a mustang 8.8 irs solid mounted, thinking of fitting a few gussets as well to make it really stiff.

I bet you that you still at some point hear "my mate 'ad one of them with that motor which made 1500 bhp after he turbo'd it." the thing is, 1500 hp out of a viper engine is easy, 7psi on the standard engine give you 850hp AT THE WHEELS!!!!!!!!!! so thats about 1000hp at the flywheel and ...

from what i've researched, the engine is 34.5 inches long, so only about 5 inches longer than the average V8,

THE nutter! How did you go about getting that engine to you? I'm guessing it was imported from the states? yes its coming from the states, with the americans arranging the shipping its as cheap to fly it over, as me to arrange sea freight, hope to collect it from heathrow end of this week, begining...
