Injectors are 550cc (thats at 40 PSI) units and its on a chevy 6.3, they will I hope just about go down low enough for a reasonable idle but will be man enough when I start to upgrade :)

Minimum injector time using Megasquirt 2

Peeps does anyone know what the lowest opening time is supported by the MS2? I have some new injectors that are a tad big but will go low enough at a pinch for the idle, assuming they are OK I should be able to get a little more power out of the engine :twisted: Oh and the open time calculator seems...

Well looked at all options and then decided to buy the gasket material from RAM gaskets that way I could make my own and know they will fit, also used the good old fashionedd Hylomar blue as that has never let me down. Yes was thinking of using Real Steel for the inlet gaskets, its really the TPI ones I cant find in UK, I suppose I could make them but what from ?

The ones on the car could be re-used but I dont like doing that as invariably you get leaks after that, I will try to get pictures later today

Ok some more advice needed as I cant seem to get what I need from Google, is there a UK supplier for Chevy TPI gaskets? I need all of the standard inlet manifold gaskets as well as the custom ones.

Think maybe I am looking and not seeing :roll:

Getting crank signal from the Megasquirt, just connected it directly from the MS into the wiring loon and hey presto it worked

Yes thats right it is an Overfinch conversion, the original ECU was junked and it has a bespoke ECU that was originally made for the TVR Cerbera by MBE systems. Unfortuneatly they could not help with the repair or re-configuration of the ECU, so now I have the old ECU and the Megasquirt in the engin...

Ahh no that would be a Holland and Holland you would need, it can pass almost anything bar a petrol station :lol:

Wel if you are ever up this way again let me know, I do fairly regular trips to Southampton as well so that may be a plan as well, it's got grunt 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds

I am in sunny Doncaster so a bit of a way off, I will get some pictures sorted as well, as for roller CAM etc I have no idea but will take a peek now the inlet manifold is off :)

And thanks for all the advise / help its great to have some like minded people with knowledge on here
