I'm hoping it won't, but I won't know until the weekend. The plan is to have it looking like just another midget, albeit without bumpers. The other V8 Midget that I know of was using MGBGT V8 twin carbs pointing back toward the bulkhead, and that certainly had clearance problems. I think the owner i...

Pug 505 are the ones you need. I had them fitted to my old MGBGT with SD1 vented 4-pots, which I believe are the same casting as vented Princess calipers. You have to redrill the discs to suit the PCD of the disc mounting holes; expect to pay about £25 at an engineering shop for the labour. The only...

The axle goes in this week following the delivery of rear suspension nuts and bolts. The prop is already made ...

Thanks for the pics Lewis! It seems that there is a bit of the casing of my remote missing. Should there be two holes on the top left as you look down on it? Think I need to get the welder out and put a bit more metal on the casing.

Problems Fitting a Sherpa Remote

Hi all Having a few probs fitting a sherpa remote to my SD1 box. Firstly, the two top mounting holes on the remote don't line up with the mounting holes in the tail housing; did sherpas have a different housing to SD1's or do I need to make up an adapter plate? Also, I don't have the spherical beari...
