Scott,

Not to sure on the ecu warning light - yet to wire mine up , but as far as the mannual sense resistor goes I wired it straight to earth - everything seems to work ok on mine.

Cheers, for all the replies guy Ian, the tune resistor I've got is the green version (I'm not running cats), I'm based in sunny North Wales - Wrexham So far I've checked for air leaks - none, electrical connectors -seem good, set the timing with the strobe light (haynes recommend between 4 -8 atdc),...

Finally got my engine running (3.9 hotwire), however whilst running the cam in (around 2000rpm) about 2mins in all the stainless steel headers started to glow bright red apart from no1 cylinder, obviously I stopped straight away, but I'm now scratching my head to why its happening. 3.9 hotwire ecu/ fuel relay problems

Having spent an age wiring my ecu , Im now having problems with the fuel pump supply ( white and purple wire- I think) There does'nt seem to be any power getting to the fuel pump, is there anyway I can test the ecu and fuel pump relay, pretty sure the wiring is all correct. Fuel line connectors on 3.9efi

Just about to connect the high pressure fuel lines to my 3.9 hotwire v8 in my Dax Rush kit car, my query is one of the orginal fuel lines ( I think its the inward one) has the threaded connector crimped allowing it to connect to the fuel rail, does anybody know the thread size etc of this connector ...

Can any of you knowledgeable chaps tell me where the two pipes go from the left hand side (as you look at it from the front) of the plenum chamber , one looks like it will go to the brake servo also there is a smaller one - ( looks the same size as the vaccum pipe that goes from the top of the plenu...

Water pipe connections on plenum chamber

Can anyboby tell me where the two waterpipe connections ( I presume they are water pipes) that are beneath the air intake on the plenum chamber go and do I need them connected or can I just block them off?

Just a couple of more questions that I should have asked before , where does the efi warning pickup point wire go to, and where can i pick a suitable resistor to wire to the neutral switch to earth.
