Anyone got an old rocker breather / flame trap? The big one that screws onto the RH rocker cover. They had wire stuff inside them.

Couldn't find an application list for uk vehicles with Holset turbos and not sure which one would be suitable. Across the pond they seem to be using HX35s on Mustangs etc, so maybe an HX30 or smaller?????? the other option is to look at the Holset turbos.... they tend to be used on fairly large comm...

Checked out STS, but I was trying to do this on a pretty tight budget and was looking for Turbos off diesel trucks etc as a means of establishing whether it was worth spending more at a later date. (hope that made sense) TVR390s just have regular down ward manifolds. It's putting out around 240bhp j...

Rear mount turbo

Before everyone starts moaning read this: http://www.junkyardturbos.com/Rear-Mount-Turbo.php I'm just looking into the feasibility of this on a 3.9 TVR. Looking for turbo suggestions and where to source or from which vehicles. The Yanks seem to be using turbos off some their diesel pickups, but we d...

Cheers everyone.

Spoke to John Eales and he reckoned he could supply what ever length I needed for £15 a pop.

Still have to decide what cam and lifters to use.

Group A push rods

Can anyone point me in the right direction for pushrods to use with Group A adjustable rockers and hydraulic lifters?

Not decided on the spec of the cam yet, but possibly V8 Development's Stealth cam.

On the subject of these dizzies. Can anyone enlighten me on the correct way to wire them. Pulled the wires off and forgot to mark them. Picture would be nice, as I can't see any marks on the module. The wire that sends a signal to the ECU, if my ECU doesn't need that, do I need to earth this connect...

Oil in plenum

TVR390 with MS and wasted spark Took the plenum off to remove the injectors and found a small pool of oil at the back of trumpet base. Would appear to have come from the breather which is attached to the RH rocker cover. Had the plenum off a short time ago and there was no oil then and it's done ver...

Can anyone point me in the right direction for one of these. Tried a search on the forum but got eveything apart from 302's.

Looking into a 302 with a US spec T5 box from UK or US to replace the engine and box in my TVR390.

Roller rockers are only really beneficial if you are running a performance engine. What is your current spec? On a race type engine they can yield a few extra bhp, but on a near standard engine etc there's not much point spending £400+ on roller rockers as you wont see much benefit at all. Just won...
