Jag 4 spot spacers

I have 32mm rotors on my sd1 and I want to swap the PBR twin piston calipers to the jag 4 spots. Is there anyone who still makes the spacers for the original sd1 4 spots as w...

4.6 liners......locking them in place.
Building up my 4.6 at the moment,I am giving some thought to ways to minimize the chances of having a stock liner drop.No way would I consider swapping to top hat liners, cost over here would be astronomical. Was thinking of a small (Alloy)tack weld in 2 places on the block at the base of the liners t...

Ok from the last pic you posted they are 14 bolt heads but as you say thay have had the outer row of short bolts left out. Were there caps blocking off the holes for them? The gaskets in your pics are the later 10 bolt type meaning either tvr left the outer bolts out or the gaskets have been replaced ...

re - leaving bolts out - DONT DO IT !!
Looking at the pics you have late 10 bolt heads, which dont have the outer bolts which can be left out or left semi lose. The gasket pictured has only 4 bolts around each cylinder, these heads are the redesigned ones which eliminate the outer row bolt problem. You need to fit all the head bolts and torq...

Been there, tried it.Really doesn't fit.The engine and drivetrain is off set way to 1 side preventing it.Options would be to cut all the floorpan and mounts out and fabricate all new stuff as the air bag suspension guys did(Car for sale on Ebay at the moment )or use a really narrow v engine like a vr...

Direct cam lobe oiling.
I have just seen an advertisement for US manufactured lifters to suit SBC (so RV8 as well) which allow direct pressured oiling of the cam lobes. They have a 22 thou hole in the base burnt in by laser to allow oil to bleed under pressure from the lifter.I am thinking of giving them a go on my new 4.6 ...

DONT REV THE ZF IN NEAUTRAL AT ALL!!!! If you do a quick websearch, you will find heaps on how a design fault with the hp22 and hp24 boxes allows fluid to bypass in neautral and park which partially engages the clutch packs causing them to heat up and burn out.Even emisions testing in the US causes t...

Yeah the design has way longer tacts than the earlier stuff agreed.I am dumfounded by the mismatch though. With the stuff I also work on (Chrysker small block, fiat twin cams,Holden 6 & 8 cyl) it is always the other way around, i.e the ports in the heads larger than the intake requiring some port ...

4.6 Efi inlets
Killed some time tonight measuring some parts in the gararge.found some interesting results comparing the GEMS and Thor 4.6 intakes and the late 10 bolt head intake ports. The ports in the head are 37mm-37.5mm in height and 23-24mm wide. The Gems intake is narrower at 21.8-22.5mm wide and 36.5-37.5mm...
