Plugs are black but not damp,I have the dizzy vac plugged plumbed into stub between carb and turbo, I will check the advance out as I've not altered since fitting turbos! Ignition is just a coil and balast resistor.

Yes but its not reading true because the exhaust is so short that the lambda is 3" from the open end.

neutral is fine but if its in R D 2 or 1 its a no go.

hmmm more questions now folks, rover 3.5 v8 twin draw thru turbos running through twin SU carbs, car sits and ticks over lovely but as soon as i slip it into gear the revs drop down and nearly stall, i can drive it but theres no power what so ever, if i blip the pedal it revs up and wants to set off...

What should be ideal afr ratio please? Whilst its sat ticking over and the lc-1 is plugged into laptop its showing high readings (18) but this does drop when throttle is pressed, I'm going to test drive tomorrow to get true readings on boost etc when engines warm.

Hi there on my su carbs (with separate float bowls that twist round) there's no choke lever that I can run a cable to, has anyone made something up to be able to use a cable? When cars cold I have to give them both a few pumps before I can press the start button and its a bit of a pain in ass. Cheer...

Well I've just fired up the twin turbo up and it's ticking over nicely,I was just watching the boost gauge and I noticed it was at -5 on Rickover but built up as I revved it, is this normal or have I got some leak somewhere???

On a twin setup is a tube from each inlet pipe joined together then to the gauge ok or will this give dodgy reading? Or is a seperate gauge for them both needed? Sounds like a daft question but I'm just wondering if say 1 side was pushing out 7 psi and the other was 4 psi I wouldn't know,I would jus...
