I have used Victor Reinz gaskets and there are steel so don't crush and have measured them in several places with an average of 2.4mm (all around the combustion ring area... The head bolts are of a stretch style so need replacing... Thanks Steve, ill look up Reinz Data sheet and see what I can find...

I can't see a rough E34 540 with 6 speed fetching much. But most were autos, so would take some finding. Same really applies to an E39. The big problem is Massive miles on them. Sorry for the late reply, but if it helps in your search E34's only came in 5 speed. If you are looking for a 6 speeder V8 box you will need to be looking at E39 535i / 540i / M5 Box. Steve, Pics would be good! would like to see the install. The adaptors are 340Euro delivered from Sweden, its a good time to buy because the euro is weak at the moment. Im going to use the M5 stacks. i would love to have some nice alloy ones because i don't particularly like the look of the M5 stack...
