Has anyone had a 4.6 crank ground and used oversized shells? Rimmer Bros have +0.020" shells on their website - are these ok?
Cheers

Our system is a standard 3.9 Hotwire system without cats, standard injectors, etc. We have a 4.6 V8 with high performance cam. We stuck a TVR 5.0 none-cat ECU on it and all's run well. We're looking to run Megasquirt soon but will be using standard loom and want to be able to run the 5.0 ECU until w...

Bosch 330cc injectors
Hi there,
I'm looking at buying some Bosch 330cc injectors and wondered if they will clip straight into a 14CUX wiring loom? Anyone know?
Also will they work with a standard 5.0L TVR 14CUX ECU or will we need to run a aftermarket ecu such as a Megasquirt?
Cheers

RV8 4.6 on Hotwire EFI Odd Issue!
Hi all, After a bit of advice. We have a Rover V8 4.6 running on 3.9 EFI setup (with 5.0 TVR ECU) and it's been working fine. Recently we decided to change the fuel pipes to braided and also changed the head gaskets. Now it doesn't run properly until you unplug air flow! With the air flow unplugged ...

Auto Gearbox Options
Hi all, Looking for an auto gearbox to replace our LT77 (2WD) that's attached to a Rover V8. We only have 26 1/2 inch to play with (tip of bell housing to end of prop) and cannot move the engine or transfer box to get more room :( So we are stuck with a max of 26 1/2 inch. What are the auto gearbox ...

What's an LC1 and where would I get a wideband lambda from? It's a high lift cam, but I'll have to find out more details about it. I'll have a look at the pistons on the SU's, but that does sound like where the problem could be. We've not changed the springs, just the needles. What effect would chan...

Right....... The 4.6 is in a Land Rover 88" Comp Safari Racer. Belting around forests, etc. but the odd straight / field. When in 1st and 2nd mid range (of the 3 speed Jag Borg Warner 66 Auto Box) it seems fine. It seems to be when we finally get the chance of a nice field, nothing there. Not got a ...

4.6 on twin SU problems
Ever since we moved to a 4.6 V8 and running it with twin SU's we have been having lots of problems with the engine and think it might be under fueling. We have changed the needles to some 'special' ones and still have the same problems. Basically there is a lot of power a low speeds and grunt when n...

3.9 Injection on a 4.6?
Can a standard 3.9 EFI system be put on a 4.6?
If so, what bits would need to be changed, if any?
Cheers!
