JP - Brilliant, I owe you one, thanks very much. Not sure where I will be able to put a catch can in mine though (had a job finidng somewhere to put the winscreen washer bottle) but I'll fit one somewhere. Yours looks like a Capri engine bay? Nice and big. :) Just one query, have you had any trouble...

Compression is good, we did a compression test when the valve burned out to find out why & where it was mis-firing in the first place. Replaced the heads with ported rebuild 3.9 heads & copper head gaskets and re-tested the compression which was all good. Rings should be OK anyway as the motor's onl...

Wade RO34 on Rover V8 help

On advice bought a new 390 VacSec into...

That's great thanks, I will trot off the the Holley website and get some photos to use as a guide. I saw the refurb kit in the RS catalogue for £20 odd so will put aside some time and patience & give it a stab myself. :)

Holley help needed

Got a little problem with the Holley Carb on my supercharged Rover V8 and was wondering if anyone could advise as I am not really knowledgeable when it comes to carbs. The unit is a L-4776-3 6000cfm Double Pumper which came with the blower and manifold straight off another vehicle. While the front 2...

Got my Wade RO34 fitted and running today :)

Couldn't believe it, got my blower and replacement carb (Holley 600 cfm) all fitted and connected at last. Turned the key, engine turned over twice and fired up perfectly. Wasn't expecting that! Just have to hook the autobox vacuum up and get a hole cut in my bonnet now. http://www...
