I am in the motor trade and can say with confidence that the 1st gen coil packs are bullet proof unlike the gen 2 type they fail regular on Mondeo's/Focus's Puma's etc

This may help the screen from the VR sensor wiring to the EDIS is not earthed at the VR sensor end.
