double bugger, poop and damn!!!! :x :x :x :x i've got the exhaust back on, minus the catalytic internals and... IT'S STILL THE SAME!!! goes straight into limp mode the minute it's switched to petrol, my next step is to change the fuel pressure regulator as i understand this is a cause of limp mode

no, i've not got two ignition systems, just the one. but the lpg does have it own ecu... theres a lot of myths associated with lpg, but it's not that much of a complicated system (altho they do need to be professionally installed) once you beak them down to they're parts and what they do. having sai...

just thought i'd add incase the info helps anyones diagnosis...

on lpg she's fine. revs, pulls, runs perfectly. but as soon as i switch to petrol she goes into limp, switch her back to lpg and off to go (no disconnecting the battery to reset the ecu)

petrol = limp mode

lpg = running fine

YOU'VE RUN OUT OF LPG...

thank you, it's confirms what i was thinking... i'm going to empty out the cats, my thoughts are.... plan A - take the exhaust off, find a length of bar and beat the living sh...ugar out of the cats internals untill theres nothing left inside or... plan B - take the exhaust off, cut a 'flap' in each...
