Re: Yella Terra Rockers standard Rocker covers?

Jumping on this old thread. Have found some 8mm spacers to raise the standard rover rocker covers from the states.

Will 8mm be enough to raise them over roller rockers?

Has anyone found ally spacers in the UK?

Thanks for that. I was thinking that there might be problems with the reception in built up areas or where there was poor coverage.

GPS Speedo?

Hi Have seen that the VOSA have changed the rules for the MOT and vehicles now have to have a working speedo. Problem is that mine hasn't worked for the last 4 years  Have changed the speedo cable from the T5 box but this didn't fix it. Have looked to replace the speedo drive to find that the...

The con rods shells had also gone through to the copper in places. Would post some pictures on here but haven't figured out how to...

RV8 Distributor oil feed

Hi Just started building up a 3.9 engine and am looking at doing the oil feed mod to improve lubrication to the distributor. Have removed the bolt from the bottom of the oil cover to drill out and tap to take a banjo bolt. However having looked at it I think its going to leave the bolt too thin. Has...

Thanks for the comments.

The heads are SDI heads but I thought the 4.6 heads were meant to be a slightly better flow as standard, or have I got this wrong.

4.6 heads or refit my 3.5 heads

Hi I'm fitting a 3.9 block to replace the 3.5 engine in my Capri. I've been offered a set of 4.6 heads which need the valves ground in and the stem seals replaced. Would these be better to fit or should I get my existing 3.5 heads checked, that they're flat, and refit them? I would probably use the ...
