Jumping on this old thread. Have found some 8mm spacers to raise the standard rover rocker covers from the states.

Will 8mm be enough to raise them over roller rockers?

Has anyone found ally spacers in the UK?

Thanks for that. I was thinking that there might be problems with the reception in built up areas or where there was poor coverage.

The heads are SDI heads but I thought the 4.6 heads were meant to be a slightly better flow as standard, or have I got this wrong.

Hi I'm fitting a 3.9 block to replace the 3.5 engine in my Capri. I've been offered a set of 4.6 heads which need the valves ground in and the stem seals replaced.
