I'm a little confused with the vac tho, so if I just blank off the vac in the dizzy and set the timing to 14deg BTDC? This will be better, or will there be alot of more modifications required?

Sorry Kevin I missed your post as I did not see 2 pages. My RV8 has standard heads and cam and I do have the vacuum on the left port at the moment. Hi sorry for delay but managed to finally get out and start solving this. I checked the float levels and changed accordingly but they weren't too much out.
