Thanks for the reply kiwicar, the engine is a 3.9 Rover with a Huricane cam, Edelbrock inlet and carb, 1.5" headers and EDIS. When the truck is done it will be a frequent driven hotrod with maybe the odd trip to North Weald airfield. From the info you gave me I`m still a little unsure what is what. ...

Carb Spacer
Can anyone shine any light on the pros and cons of phenolic carb spacers ? Assuming there is enough room would two inch be better than one inch ? Is an open plenum better or worse than four holes ? I know it all probably depends on the type of use the engine will see and what other bits it has insid...

Alluminium sump
Can anyone tell me if there is an alluminium sump from another (later) RV8 that will fit my 3.5 P6 ?
And if so, where would I get one from ? does anyone have one ?

small block chevy oil
Can anyone give me advice on the correct engine oil for my 350 small block ?, it has the full Edelbrock Performer RPM treatment, and makes around 400bhp, could I use synthetic ? such as Mobil 1 or similar ?

I have seen a car with the brake servo under the front seat, and would like to go that route myself, can anyone shed any light on the maximum distance it can be from the manifold, pipe diameter etc.
