Yea thats understandable.... Probably worth mentioning though isnt it so people dont get confused? Especially as the diagram is saying showing different colours to the sticky post... its taken me days to work it out and and im still not there lol Sorry im not having a go, the information i have got ...

Ok sussed it. Its white/blue going to pin 39. So daves Hotwire write up needs amending here: http://www.v8forum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=149 He says it is white/black which it is on the old loom, but appears to have changed to white/blue on this other loom. Sorry I mean the wire that goes from the negative side of the coil to the ECU to tell the ecu the engine is running.... The one with the 6.8 ohm resistor in it that Coop mentions in his efi loom wiring sticky on the electricals page.... I looked it up on a pinout diagram i found and the pin is numbe...

Help! Cant find the white/black injector feed wire....
On my hotwire loom... on the old loom that was butchered it was with the AFM wiring but is not there on the new loom. which apparently is from a semi serpentine engine.... any guesses? is it a different colour or something?

That was my other line of reasoning. i had the feed from the negative on the coil plugged into a white/black wire on the loom and nothing was happening. So i read up a bit and realised two things. 1- the white black i need should be near the throttle position sensor wiring. not the alternator wiring...

Does the hotwire have a feed for the oil pressure switch?
As above, does the hotwire injection system have a feed to the oil pressure switch to prevent it starting without oil pressure? Im chasing a fault on mine thats stopping it fuelling and this was one of the things i thought of. Also will the engine fire without the Throttle position switch plugged in...
