Cheers guys I have gone for a Kevlar stage 2 clutch it's okay 90% of the time but raging it up a muddy hill seems to get it smelling. Thanks for the advice if this doesn't work I'll have to sort the flywheel.

Do you think it will suffice or is it it a it borderline. Problem with range rover flywheels are like hens teeth most of them were auto boxes

Thanks for that Denis going to remove the clutch and have a look probably need a larger flywheel then.

Hi all I have a land rover 90 which had a 3.5 V8 on a lt 85 gearbox and now has a 4.2. If you have wet the plugs that much you may have knackered them try a new set of plugs.

Which clutch

Hi all
Am upgrading the 3.5 engine in my land rover 90 to a 4.2 I noticed there are different clutches for the 3.5 and 3.9 I will be using the flywheel off my 3.5 what is the difference between the 3.9 and 3.5 clutches?

Thanks for the reply ill use the standard cam then, So you think the efi would be better than the SUs on gas I thought the twin mixers would be better than single mixer for EFI. How much did you get your heads skimmed to get the CR up that much.
