So which is it, you never received them (as in they were supposed to be posted) or you never went to get them? If the latter then go get them and sell them on to get your money back. Maybe the person you bought from needs the money as well hence selling you the parts.

It has been done with varying success a few times. I think the member on here Topcat did it but sold it all not long after getting it going. Maybe have a search and see if you can find his threads on it. I did a 4 banger years ago on bike smoothbores for a rally car. They were an utter pain to get s...

I have seen this on Chevy's and Fords alike almost always down to poor maintenance, no oil changes. Typically the engine isn't in very good condition when they are in this state.

Nothing is impossible but whether it is practical or not is another matter. Double check your engine dimensions as DOHC V8's are usually pretty wide and a mk2 escorts might not have the room for either the engine or the box. Box is usually easy enough to sort but the engine isn't. Jag back axle is i...

Did you check the big ends of the rodds for roundness? Seen it a few times where one has ovaled and new shells or a grind and shells make it tight.

4.6 takes a standard injector so as long as you pick the correct impedance you can use just about any of the injectors found on the American V8's.

Looking at the data sheet its output is a pulse/PWM the same as any other hall effect sensor. It will only do this while moving as well. Think crank sensor or electronic dizzy pickup. The outputs are basically the same. I have looked at the data sheet again and there are 4 models 2 of which have a l...

How do you go about replacing a resistive sensor with a hall effect sensor? They work in completely different ways and the outputs are totally different.

The guys are probably right with the oil control but a couple of other things to look at: Did you get the pump base modified to take the tadpole? The original 90deg corner that the tadpole would sit in is useless for sealing properly most of the time . The pump base should be modified with a chamfer...

Its up to you but instead of doing all the machining work and fabrication to get decent injectors in you might be easier/cheaper to fit a hotwire manifold and keep the throttle body it comes with. These work pretty well and take normal injectors so there is plenty choice. You're going to have to go ...

in short put it as close to the manifold/collector as you can. So long as the sensor has a heater in it then it isn't critical though.
