just trying to figure out what camshaft i have here, just taken it out and it says RP4 305 L on the end.

How can I Balance SU Carbs Without Removing Air Filters

i need to balance my carbs but as it runs on lpg only i cant take the air filters off to do it, is there another way of doing it, i have a 3mm nipple on each carbs air filter for a valvesaver kit so i could i do something with that

no the pump fits the timing cover but the pulley is in the wrong place,

at the moment its just two little k and n filters, putting some bigger ones on there when they come in the post.

ramping it means putting my foot down, accelerating as fast as i can.


as for the needles its just how the carbs came, can you move them with different indents then?

tuning my su carbs

got my engine going today and trying to get the carbs somewhere near right, my wideband says on tickover its hovering around 12.5 -13, cruising its around 15.5-16 and ramping it it goes to 17.5ish i dont know much about this but 17s ramping it seems very lean, i read it should go into the 12s. also ...

i fixed it,it was the head gasket gone, seems to start and tickover fine now with no smoke, just got to try and sort the carbs out now

on a whim i bought some high comp pistons off ebay on the plan of eventually fitting them to one of my engines as iv read the get better mpg, got them through and one had a bit of damage

is this ok or unusable
