holly do an on-line site which sets out all specs for engine size to carb use.if 4 barrel vacum secondries(back two barrels do not open when you flick the throt lever ,with filter off so you can watch)then set up needs to be done rolling road.the back two barrels only open under load.

the o ring on the 3.5 gasket is 3-4 mil smaller than the 3.9 gasket so is closer to the valves, but as you have done this i hope im ok

go for a 3.9 block , many out there. rebore cannot be 100% as the block can crack. its also cheaper than a rebore

3.9 heads on 3.5 block

replacing heads on 3.5 block with 3.9 efi heads using 3.5 gasket.will it be ok.slight over hang of the gasket at the outlet port, will this be a problem. has anyone used these heads on a 3.5 and was it ok

drilled for adjust push rods

had the same prob. drilled out to 13 mil then had to take a file to the holes next to ilnlet ports as rods were fouling the inlet casting.
