1/2 PRICE SUMMER SALE

Well there's no denying we're in the middle of a recession - but there's no need to compromise on your engine filter quality and oil condition. So, for the foreseeable future I will be discounting the price of my V8 Filters (V8F8990) Instead of £15 each (ebay recently) you can bag a V8F filter for j...

does the filter work ok when inverted ?

hello Leigh, thanks for the enquiry yes indeed the filter works as well inverted as it does with the bowl angled downwards. the V8F8990 filter includes an "anti backflow valve" (or Anti Drain Back Valve ADBV as some of our US friends refer to it as) which prevents oil from draining out when inverted...

Hi Tony, yes i did enquire some time ago about an alternative to your engine filter - fleetguard do manufacture a 96 diameter x 95mm long with 3/4 UNF threads - but wont put glassfibre media in it...only paper. i had also enquired about the chevvy filters too - these have the 13/16 threads - and yes...

hi Paul, yeah i think that the 5000 mile annual filter change would work well for you then. one thing you will notice once the filter is installed is that the oil won't go black as it normally does - it will stay much clearer...and only become an amber brown by the time you come to change it in a ye...

filter change frequency

hello Paul thanks for the order! how many miles do you generally travel per month and is it good steady runs or stop start heavy traffic? the reason i ask is because if you are on long runs then less carbon is being generated and finding its way into your engine oil. My filter does remove this carbo...

Been busy with an investigation - finding out what other V8's my filter fits. pleased to announce that it fits ALL Ford V8's and ALL Chrysler V8's. Also discovered that 99% of the "remote mounted" filter heads also have the same threads (3/4 - 16 UNF) Its a far more popular thread than i imagined. S...
