hi guys, i have fitted a electric fan to the rad, and wondered if i should fit a shoud cover over the rad, as well. most modern cars have them. i believe to push the air thro, the fan. what do you thing , paul

hi denis, god if you have tried all that i can not see me doing any better. one thing i would like to know more of is the cooling fan by the carb. i have a small fan which pumps air from boat engines, which i could pump cold air on to the carb instead. but what do you use to turn it on for a set tim...

hi ian, sorry about the time its taken, had a few other problems, right getting back to the overheating, i have moved the rad back , to enable a electric fan to be fitted on the engine side pulling air thro , the rad , that worked out fine, temp, is on the 1/4 mark on the clock on the move, it moves...

:wink: , hi guys, Can anyone tell me when fitting a bonnet vent, to cool down the underbonnet heat, is it best to fit it facing the windscreen to take the hot air out !!. or facing the front to feed the cold outside air in to push the hot air out??. if it will do that. help please paul

:roll: hi guys, i want to put a petrol return pipe in my rover 3.5 engine stag, i am getting vapour locks, and it a bugger to restart even after six hours cooling down. it always start first time cold, been tuned - up. does the pipe have to be a smaller dia, so the pump can cope?. any help please. p...

hi guys i put a new high power starter for a range rover in my 3.5 p6 engine , was ok for a time ,but now it pings when starting from time to time, do you think it is messing the ring up. paul :cry:

It helps as fuel is always flowing through the system and any air is expelled into the tank, vapour has a way of escaping from the fuel pipes. Later 3.0 Capris had this done as well i see, so what would you have to do, put a tee peice near the carb so the fuel would pass back to the tank or to the ...
