RV8 bellhousing bolt sheared
OK was removing the transmission in the Hilux to swap the manual Toyota gearbox to a TH350 Chevy automatic and one of the bellhousing bolts sheared off, it was one of the top 2, the others were very tight and I want to run a tap into them to clean out all the crud and corrosion. it lives, thank you for your help it was the fuel pump relay in the end just think it was a coincidence it happened at the same time as I was tinkering. Are they the 2 metal relays? I did check those visually and unplugged them and plugged them back in again but no luck. I do have some spare relays I think somewhere so will try fitting those. My oil light has stopped working too :( is there any way to check the bulb and wiring is OK before replacing the oil switch as it isn't very old and I would be surprised if it had failed again, no light when ignition is on but im sure the light flickered for a nano second whilst the starter was cran...
