i had three brand new belts on it (gates) and it just threw them offive tried tensioning the belts at different tightness but no luck, doesnt any body do shims move the water pump pulley out?

ive got the holleyred pump on mine with no regulator, holley say that you dont need one, it pumps 7psi, 95 gph free flow or 67gph at 5psi should be good enough for most rovers

water pump and crank pulley alignment

anybody had problems with there water pump and crank pulley not lining up? im throwing belts off when im at high revs. had a look at another engine today and its pulleys werent spot on but they were a lot closer than mine.

often there are janspeed turbo conversions for the range rover pop up on ebay there a very basic turbo setup using carbs but should be fine for what your after

i had a problem where it wouldnt change unless i caned it and that turned out to be the regulator jammed at full pressure, so maybe you dont have enough pressure to hold the gears.

ive just sold a 4.6 block and the liners definately never stuck up from the deck face, these later blocks are prone to the liners moving. it would be best to have new t top liners put in anyway because even if the liners havent moved yet, they will later on its just about guaranteed.

ivwe been using duckhams classic 20/50 for a while now and i think its the best ive ever used, went from using formula 1 20/50 kak to duckhams and the difference was imminent usually i would get 1-2 seconds off lifter rattle on fire up but now i dont hear a thing

had this argument with a cossie pest just last week he was addament theywere only 4x4 just cos sapphires had em, any way there was a company called a frame engineering was doing a bellhousing for the type 9 box and im assuming the mt75 was the replacement box maybe they share a bell housing

i have exactly the same problem mate crunches into second gear when cold and whines its tits off in every gear, was told there is a filter in the box somewhere that gets blocked
