Re: MGB V8 conversion - oil fill location?
Two breathers are unnecessary as the engine is open internally. You may just be able to pull one off, pour the oil into the rocker cover and then pop it back.

Tuning with a web browser
Due to Google policies, MSDroid is effectively dead so I'm scratching an itch with a web browser based app for tuning Megasquirt and Speeduino type ECUs. I need data to test the auto VE tuning aspect. If you have a reasonably well tuned setup, can you please send me you MSQ and MSL files? I want to ...

Re: 3.9 EFi Fuel Rails?
That's very expensive, have a look at OBP https://www.obpltd.com/product-category/fuel-water-swirl-pots/bulkhead-mount-swirl-pots/ A return form the fuel rail keeps the fuel in the rail cooler. You need one if the rail is designed that way, otherwise you're just going to trade one problem for anothe...

If you suspect the injectors, swap 2&8 with 4&6 and see what happens.

Re: Ignition advance with ECU controlled ignition - Should it be this high?
That does sound very high. I'm running Speeduino (very similar to MS2) and I'm idling at about 9/10 degrees.

It isn't really a return on the expansion, it's a vent for excess. Either dump it or catch it in a bottle and if you have the right pressure cap it'll get sucked back in as the water cools.

Re: Does anyone know how to simplify a Gems 4.6 p38a cooling system for a classic car?
What does your waterpump look like? Every connector on it is an input so one of them can be used for the output from the inlet manifold and the heater matrix. The expansion tank is either just a vent or goes to a catch tank dependent on if you have a two way cap on it or not.
