The spring on the top of the quadrant is just an additional to stiffen the pedal feel a little, im running one at the bottom also. I wasn't expecting this set up to be so temperamental. You mention an additional spring connected to the link between the butterflies do you have any footage of this in ...

Idle issues..plenum?
Guys im looking for some help, ive recently had a rolling road set up on the megasquirt, the tuner had issues removing a ramp in the map around the 1600-1800 rev range, this coincides with the idle issues ive been having lately in this area. The car intermittently holds the idle in this rev range wh...

I changed the valley gasket and injectors a little while back, possible causes? Have i an...

Re: This is getting silly now
Could this be as simple as a stepper motor issue? Get it warmed up and then just unplug the stepper motor to see if that is causing the problem? Nothing happens when i disconnect it :? is this right? BIG but if i start the car with the stepper unplugged it over shoots to about 2k plugged in back to...

This is getting silly now
Guys im pulling my hair out, ive got what i suspect as an intermitten air leak. Im using a twin plenum converted to hot wire - at idle theres no drama as it sits nicely at 900-1000rpm a blip of the throttle and it returns back as it should. Under load the revs will only go back to 1800 rpm.. then if...

Both the reverse link arm and bearing were both badly worn causing the throttle to snag and leave gaps in pedal pressure. Since the last picture ive had the oval slot straightened and a larger bearing fitted to take away the play. The pulley is now both smoother and sharper with no gaps in pedal ope...

was hoping for alternatives as i fear my linkage is worn One really needs to know exactly where. I know from experience that the only insurmountable problem is the throttle spindles being twisted due to abuse. or friction caused by misalignment, gross contamination or badly setup springs. Some memb...

Twin Plenum throttle options
Hi chaps I dont know how many of you guys are using these (apart from the sticky above)? Has anyone come up with an aftermarket throttle assembly for it. I know about the John Eales ones for £6-700, but im thinking more along the diy route. Im getting throttle hang up with the standard one and its d...
