Thanks for the replies, A-frame is not braked but that can be adjusted. Hi all, im looking at getting a cheap 4x4 to tow my rover sd1 on a a-frame when needed. roversd1 is 3150lb roughly, what motor is legally able to pull it,and it has to diesel, all info welcome. rich
