Rover water pump pully size?

Post by Jono FD3 »

Hi guys, couls someone tell me the diamiter of the waterpump pully on the rover lumps (not the serpentine type)
I'm having a bit of bother finding one, and the new ones are about £50 so I had a thought of spinning up an aloy one on the lathe as the material can be had for sencible money!

Cheers
Jono

My alloy one is 175mm diameter. It's fitted to a p5/p6 type pump.

It rather depends on the water pump you're using. There are two listed for the SD1 - one NLA, the other about 25 quid from Rimmer. I'd guess Landie ones are cheaper.

Yes, P5/P6 type. The pulley is amost a flat plate.

It's not the SD1 type with a viscous fan.
SD1 pulleys are dished shape.
