v8 Radiator Suggestions

Post by bigdawgv8 »

Hi all,

Need your help and ideas again.

Just got my V8 up and running but the rad just isn't up to the job (a left-over from the cars 2 litre days!)

Sierra Cosworth seems popular but they're getting scarce and pricey.

Need something similar size to Cosworth - W 735mm, H 310mm, D 50mm

Can anyone suggest a suitable rad and fans for a V8 in Morris Minor..................???

Cheers

Martin :D

I am running a Sierra OHC rad for years now on our supercharged 3.5 without problems or what soever. Running the twin Sierra fans on seperate themp senders ( one left and one right ) and on seperate relays.
Have to mension that since we have an 16 row oil cooler with stat fitted the water temp is more stabil with outside 25+ degree Celsius temeratures.

Pilgrim Sumos (Cob replicas) use sierra 2.3 diesel rad turned up side down!

I've a fairly hot 4.6 lump that runs at 77-80 degrees with the above rad.
