What rad are you using ? Sbc

I am putting a sbc which is basically stock into a minor I would like to know what radiators other people have used (which cool it ok) into there own cars so that I can try to find one that will work in mine :wink:

I've got a Serck Motorsports one that's good for 600bhp here

but it definitely needs a bigger fan.

I also have the original nearly new rad that came out before the rebuild which is a Griffin Aluminium high capacity which cooled the car better.

Can't use the Griffin because the new rack gets in the way. If you're interested make me an offer before I get my lazy @ss onto Ebay :D

The rad is 19 inches wide by 22 inches high by 4 inches wide over the header tank. It doesn't have the fan shown or a rad cap. You can find the manufacturer at http://www.griffinradiator.com.

Thanks for the quick response mate I have had a measure up and your rad is way too tall I'm afraid ! What I need is something which is about 30" wide by about 14" tall !

Docking makes ones for the GT40
They are 12 * 24 inches

Said to be good for about 600hp

But about £400

Owner of an "On the Road" GT40 Replica by DAX powered by 3.9Hotwre Efi, worked over by DJ Motors. EFi Working but still does some kangaroo at low revs (Damn the speed limits) In to paint shop 18/03/08.
