Range Rover Water Pump

Post by TVRTASMIN »

Is it possible to open up the blanking on the RR pump as my P6 has a pipe to both outlets .
I know you're going to say the RR pump/front cover won't fit but i'm not going to use the engine driven fan when the 3.9 goes in, and the pump will give clearance to fit one big electric fan behind the rad instead of two small ones mounted diagonally.

You mean in the heater outlets on the back of the pump? Yes you can open them out. I think it's a core plug in the blanked off one, but I could be wrong.

I did exactly that to use a P6 inlet manifold on an EFi front cover.

Thanks for that, yes it does look like a small core plug.
