If you are using stock chassis railsI am 100% certain the capri Roll bar is at fault, depending on how low the car is, you can get away with a stock ARB, mk1 or 2 escort, or if the car is, but below a cetain height you need a Twincam ARBwhich is slightly longer to push the wheels back in the arches, or fit compression struts.
Rally design used to sell Twink ARBs but they are not listed on their site at the moment, may be worth a call, someone else to try could be Peter Lloyd rallying, check with them before you buy, just to make sure,
Ian :D :D

i heard the twin cam is longer than the others, i got a anti dive kit from rally design some time back for it, it lowers the front of the arb about an inch, and has 3 brackets to clamp it, i did line it it upto fit along time ago and because it looked short i rang west wales rally and they gave them the measurements of my anti-roll bar and they said it is the same length as normal ones but the twin cam is longer, thanks for the help Ian. i will ring rally design as ive got to order some rear shocks, and peter lloyd have the twin cam in for £90, thanks again :D rich

Capris are iwder are't they? I know an Escort x member is too short and knowing that they use the same suspension arm that must mean the arb is wider?

I second the twink arb option.
V8'less but a fountain of dorky knowledge ref v8's!

How do we know what fits what?

Does anyone have a chart of hole centres and slot widths for various calipers so I can find something better for my lowered Rangie chassis
