Happy New Year from Derbyshire

Post by docjohn »

Hi, I'm John and I've just joined the V8 Owner Forum. One of my New Year's resolutions is to get three V8s on the road this year. I've got a BMW 550i MSport Touring which is the daily driver; an MGB GT V8 which I built for sprinting but was off the road last year waiting for an engine rebuild - I'll put up some more details of the GT as it might interest people; and 1954 Ford Pilot V8 Woodie which is currently occupying my time as it's been off the road and dismantled since 1977. That's the plan anyway, and there's a V8 Pilot saloon waiting its turn and a couple of 4 cylinder projects which I won't mention!

Welcome mate. :)

Somewhere in the family archives is a picture of me 54 years ago when I was 2, standing naked on the bonnet of Dads V8 Pilot saloon :)

Happy New Year and good luck with the projects !
