Thanks for he feedback! M112, I'm guessing its time for an Eaton charger then!!
I had read online about the short stacks and i wasn't sure what i was going to do, I also have the M5 stock Trumpets, ill possibly have to house that in some kind of Airbox.
Are you planning to run the ITB's with the Charger? If not and you wish to part with your adaptors i would be interested.
Do you think the ITB's are a worthwhile addition without tweaking and playing with the timing?

I think the ITB's work ok, but depending on the application, if I were to lower the gearing strip out the interior and track it they would work well, but I just want it to be an easy car to cruise in and also to be mental road car as well, the ITB's have spoilt the low down grunt/drivability...
I have done some calculations, and an eaton m112 spinning at 2x crank rpm should make about 9 - 10 psi of boost and hopefully that should equate to 450-500hp and 450+lb/ft torque, this should be at a lower rpm, hopefully....
I'm not going to run the ITB's with the supercharger, but the adapters will come in handy to make/adapt the inlet manifolds I have in mind to do the job of fitting the supercharger....
Once I have started to piece the bits together I will post some pics and the plan of attack....

For anyone that is interested i have a contact who is supplying M60/M62 to S62 M5 Throttle bodies conversion kits.
Mine should be Arriving any day. The kit includes -
2 adapter plaes
20 o-rings - 16 to use and 4 spares
Screws to assebly the flanges to cyl.head and throttles to flanges
Kit for helicoiling M7-treads to M6 in cyl.head

They look nice, similar to mine, there a bit thicker than mine, what sort of money are they...???
I'm going to sell my ITB's once stripped off the car (not the adapters)....
Iain are you using the M5 velocity stacks or shorter ones...???

The adaptors are 340Euro delivered from Sweden, its a good time to buy because the euro is weak at the moment.
Im going to use the M5 stacks. i would love to have some nice alloy ones because i don't particularly like the look of the M5 stacks but if they are going to be effective that is all that matters.
Ive been reading about M60 heads on the M62, is this the route you went down?
Have you had any clutch trouble with your imported clutch plate?

I am reading through this and seeing a few variations regarding fuel pump and sump ideas.
Basically I have bought an e36 with the idea of doing this conversion and was wondering which is potentially easier..
E30 engine carrier and subframe with 20mm spacers as described by one person on this post which results in less work on the sump
Or the OP variation of the custom fuel pump etc.
Which would people recommend?

My car still has the original in tank pump it the mo, but I'm going to change it for one of the walbro 400 pumps you can now get, the stock pump is supporting 5bar fuel pressure and nearly 360hp...
Oil pump choice is entirely up to you, can't advise you either way, just wrote this thread to share my idea....

Would you be able to give me the details of the places that you got the flywheel, mounts, oil pump and sump made?
from reading this a few times it seems like these are the main issues so if I can get those sorted at the start should hopefully save a bit of time in the long run

I out sourced the mount flanges, but made the mounts myself, the oil pump is an X5 pump that's lengthened by 98mm to move it back to the next main bearing, you need new shaft etc to be made and spacer parts then someone to weld it together.... They also made the flange for the sump, I then did the rest myself..
The place the made the bits I needed is a friend, there is a guy on eBay that sells the flywheels made by the same company...

have you got a chance to get much done with the car recently?
Ive had a few days off, so this evening i bolted up my adaptors & Throttle Bodies.
The vacum take offs and Idle Control take offs on the TB's, what do you do with them? did you just blank those bits off? or do they need connected up to each other?

If you arent using a servo, then just plug up the large Vac takeoff.
Smaller ones, will depend on what ecu/idle control setup it will be using.
As for a 400lph Walbro, unless you really need the sort of flow it offers, it makes no sense to use such a pump, as wiring will definitely need upgraded too given the huge current those pumps draw

I linked the big vacuum pipe work up and blocked off the smaller ones..
I haven't done anything to mine at all lately, just working out/researching what parts I'm going to need biuld the 5.0ltr M62, I've decided to ditch the ITB's and return to the original M62 inlet manifold, but hoping for 400hp & 400lb/ft....
