New water neck for the manifold turned up today so manged to get the top and bottom radiator hoses finished.
Need jubilee clips to finish the top one off.
Cut the two pipes for the header tank to length and test fitted.
On removing the original oil cooler pipes i found that the solid lines were not supported at this end. So made
up a bracket and bolted it to the engine mount. Will p-clip the pipe to this.
And just a quick "overview" of how it all stands at the mo humbup1:
Back at work tomorrow so no more updates until saturday.
Cheers

Not had a chance to work on the van lately, so cracked on with it today.
Got the oil cooler and fan mounted to the radiator.
Changed the top hose set up a bit, did away with the filler cap hose as i dont really need it.
And plumbed in the oil cooler lines, looks a bit messy but it works and doesnt leak
Look!!!!, its moved, under its own power
And a short, poorly taken video.
Enjoy

Blimey been a loooooooooong time since i last updated this. Admittedly been lacking enthusiasm lately, but trip to the pod hits sunday soon sorted that out.
Work done since last update:
Floor mounted shifter, errr, mounted
Preliminary wiring in the fuse/relay box
Ran main and auxillary power cables from the battery to fuse box and starter
Got start heat blanket fitted and ignition leads tidied up (although they are still dirty)
Got shifter cable, and gear position cable attached to the box
Dash also taking shape now, still very much a work in progress though
Hoping to have everything but the igntion/switches wired in by the end of this week, fingers crossed!!

Today brought with it the continuation of the wiring
Aside from the switch panel, which is wired in seperately, everything from the back of the van, to the engine, has been routed to the fusebox
Where wiring goes to the engine and/or continues to the front of the van in this box, has all been connected up
Just got to carry on and sort this lot tomorrow!!!

LOADS done today
All wiring has been routed up to the gauges, which are also now wired in.
Also installed the gear position indicator, and gave it a test
So far i have the following working:
All gauges including backlighting
Brake lights
Tail lights
And belive it or not, actually got it to fire up today . All the gauges seem to
be reading as they should, except the vacuum gauge which is reading very low (5 in. instead of 20 ish), might
have the wrong port on the carb though.
More over the weekend

That is looking really good especially the wiring.
I have a problem with people spending loads of time on their cars and then making a complete hash of the looms and it looks like a snakes wedding under the bonnet.
Nice one ,very impressed with what you have done so far keep up the good stuff.
cheers
