Hi All,
I borrowed a camera ( much better than my old one ) & so I thought I'd share a few pic's with you.
I taxed it on the first of April & after driving the Escort diesel over the winter had forgoten just how much grunt it has. Anyway after a few sideways corners I've got used to it again.

Thanks everyone!
kiwicar. Almost but no cigar. It's a Chimaera ( the missus's shopping cart ). She really hates it when I call it that.
She's had it for 3 years & it's only got 23000 miles on the clock.

Hi All,
Well as you all know I didn't make it to the forum day because of cooling problems. The car was still drivable for short distances but as soon as you got the revs up the coolant light came on.It turns out I have a liner problem, only a small leakage but eventually it will only get worse. Anyway I've just removed the engine & am going to get top hat liners fitted. With a bit of luck I'll be back on the road again in 3 weeks ( happy but skint).

Hope your car is fit soon Ged. Perhaps we could meet somewhere when your sorted as I'm sure you would love to get some miles under your tyres after all that work.
I need some miles on my engine now to see if my mods (extra lub and cam button) have stopped the excessive wear on my distributer/oil pump drive gear.
Paul.
