Updated pics of my 3.9 SD1

More pics to come but she is on the road and I am ironing out the last of my issues after the 3.9 rebuild.

Along with the motor being tricked out I have also converted this to a 5 speed manual, rebuilt the suspension, upgraded the brake system and seen a whole lot of money go out the door haha (well worth it may I add!)
Anyway here are a few shots.

(one of the rocker covers was off as I was swapping the gaskets with rubber seals.)

good to hear she is on the road at last mate,
i gather you sorted your over heating and clutch probs out at last?

Certainly did Tony ;-)

Clutch was done a wee while ago and the over heating was an airlock which was finally moved by giving it sum stick up my hill!!!!!!

Just got to get the W.O.F done (MOT I think you call it over there)
So i get to enjoy my petrol bill for the rest of the summer!

Will post some picks of the brakes etc this weekend.

VERY nice sd1! Not a fan of cutting the bonnet for the intake, but if it makes you happy...

Where in NZ are you? Im in Christchurch.

Was there much involved in the 3.9 swap? straight bolt in i assume. Fuel upgrades?

Manual conversion done from a manual sd1 donor?
