Buying a T reg Disco with LPG

Post by star100 »

I've seen a T reg Disco and it has LPG fitted. Its Done 85,000 miles, and i wondered if the mileage would be a problem on it? It has got full land rover service history..... Or would i be better off getting one with lower mileage?

I did have an N reg Disco on LPG but it gave me nothing but problems. It had the same sort of mileage on it.

If you could give me your thoughts and advice that would be great.

Thanks sarah

It should be fine provided it's a good quality LPG conversion (i.e. not a lashup done in somebodies shed!).

Under those circumstances it will be no better / worse than a standard LPG Disco.

I've put 50K on a V8 solely on LPG, and it's not suffered any more than a petrol one would have done.
