Gasket sets

Post by TVRTASMIN »

Will need a gasket set shortly.
Anybody had experience of the multitude offered on Ebay.

I suspect the composite inlet manifold and rubber rocker box gaskets are a must.
With Composite head gaskets if you want to lower the compression.

Definitely get the composite inlet manifold gaskets! Cork rocker box gaskets are OK though, especially if you don't remove them that often.

Nothing wrong with the tin head gaskets either, but I guess that depends on what CR / heads you are using.

Are these sorted now, about 6 year's ago I was told not to use them, and to use the tin.

Also for the extra few £ id get the rubber rocker gaskets. £8 a pair inc delivery.
