"For sale is a modified leyland P76 motor. With one off heavy duty sleeves pressed into block to take capacity from 4.4ltr standard to 5ltr with standard p76 3.5 inch stroke. This decreases valve shrouding and makes for a better 5ltr motor than stroking. Plus standard rods crank etc are used. It is using Federal Mogul 253 holden pistons and its first rebore would accept 3.9 rover pistons. It has shaved p76 heads with holden valves. Much larger valves than rover ever fitted. I have two sets of roller rockers to suit and two sets of studs for fittment. One set includes guide plates and roller rockers etc are brand new. I was converting to roller rocker because p76 heads run alloy saddles and pressed steel rocker gear like early holdens and this causes problems when these motors are reved hard."
