it sure is,
just need to sort out a prop slide yoke now, or a bolt on coupling for the prop,
then sort the bellhousing out once i can find an auto bell housing
then try and sort the clutch out,

Ian your helix set up is it a toyota plate and a rover cover???
and have you any part numbers i can quote when i contact them?

Stevie, what spigot bush did you use? as i notice the supra spigot stub on the input shaft is smaller than the lt77.

Spigot bush came supplied with the bellhousing kit I used from Conversion Components.

It should be easy to get one made from brass, or other similar material anyway.

http://www.clutchnet.com/make/selMake.html

lists makes, sizes, splines etc...

So there will be one there to suit.

you need to talk to them, tell them what you are doing and see what they offer, its very much down to the depth of your bellhousing.
Still not sure what the noise is ,but I have never ever heard a grumbling like this, may be somthing stupid like gearbox mount broken allowing the box to move against the tunnel. But I did lose the tail shaft seal earlier this year, not the end of the world, I have another box hidden up the farm, may be 2 boxes, I cant remember :D :D :D .

ok...brassy coloured metal is perhaps a better description.

Or you could throw a proper bearing in there if you can find one. LS1's use a needle roller in there
